Tamsen in Roni

After hosting Roni Boutique's Fashion Night Out event, news anchor Tamsen Fadal of the CW 11 Morning News wore one of the dresses given to her from Roni the very next day, on air during a national broadcast.

Fashion Night Out Recap

Fashion Night Out, also known as FNO, has quickly become one of the most anticipated events for stores, designers and shoppers. Now in its third year, over 1,000 stores hosted events throughout New York City on Thursday September 8; one of these stores including our client Roni NYC. With three locations within the city, the Roni boutique located on 44 Prince Street opened its doors and showcased brand new items to prospective buyers.

This FNO event, hosted by Ryan Nikalaus from “The A-List New York,” Tamsen Fadal of the CW 11 Morning News and Amber Collins, Miss New York USA 2011, benefited CancerCare.  $5.00 of every purchase was donated to the organization, along with 10% off of all merchandise to customers.

A steady flow of shoppers and guests enjoyed healthy appetizers provided by Chef Brian Johnson
including curry chicken salad on cucumber rounds, which complimented the cucumber specialty cocktails provided by Pearl Vodka. For those with a sweet tooth, guests also enjoyed mini cupcakes sponsored by Little Cupcake Bakeshop.
Highlights of the night included a speech from CancerCare social worker Kristy Case about the free services CancerCare offers to individuals and families facing cancer, such as counseling, support groups, and educational workshops.  Ryan Nikalaus spoke about the fashion world and his excitement in being involved in the event.  He also went on to explain his personal connection with cancer and the benefits of the services that CancerCare offers.  Preceding his speech, Ryan surprised CancerCare with a $5,000 check to further show his support for the cause. Following the speeches that were made, a fashion show was held within the isles of Roni to display both day and night outfits that were available to purchase. After Tamsen spoke about her sincere interest in being involved in a great cause, she read off descriptions of the outfits being showcased by the models.  Last but not least, shoppers were encouraged to try on the Roni line, which Tamsen and Amber took full advantage of and delighted in throughout the night.

At the conclusion of the night, guests received gift bags including a complimentary scarf from Roni and much more!
